Trauma - Informed Accounting Services

We provide education and services at the intersection of trauma and finance to produce a more equitable economy.

What We Do

Think legal aid, but for accounting issues: taxes, of course, but also notices from those taxing agencies. Currently the error rate of tax notices is over 70% and the IRS estimated one in 10 taxpayers received a notice in 2025. That IRS estimate doesn’t include notices from state agencies which have a similar error rate. CPA services are financially out of reach for those most affected by this unabashed bullying and that’s where we come in.

We also provide bookkeeping services to select small businesses and nonprofit organizations, and we extend our 501c3 umbrella to mutual aid projects and emerging world builders.

Our Values

Land & Labor Recognition

We acknowledge that much of our work takes place on the territory and ancestral lands of the Kalapuya people. We also acknowledge our debt to enslaved people whose labor and suffering built and grew the economy and infrastructure of a nation that refuses to acknowledge this history of dehumanization and enslavement. We are inviting you to take a moment to reflect on whose land you are living and working and if you do not know, to research and reflect. Learn more about the native lands you reside on.

Our Projects

  • Proyecto de Recuperación Financiera/Financial Healing Project

These are our PWYC (Pay What You Can) CPA firm services.  Our services include not only the standard ones like taxes and responding to notices, but also assisting with acquiring ITINS, identity theft management, anti-capitalist & decolonized financial education, and really anything the community requests where we have the expertise to respond.

  • Camp Glimmer

    Glimmer Camp

Glimmer Camp supports self-discovery, adventure, fun, connection, and community for LGBTQ2S+ adults through safe/r, dynamic, and affirming camp events.

  • The Oddkins Guild (Coming March 2026)

As marginalized people, we collectively created a virtual community space! Our first events center around expressing our grief and using our collective genius to adapt to the incessant apocalypses. Stay tuned for announcements and links.
